Caption extraction
When you submit a YouTube URL, the server uses that URL to request publicly available caption data from the caption extraction provider. The tool does not download the video or audio.
Accounts and saved history
If you sign in, your account is handled through our authentication provider. Transcript history may be saved where supported so you can access previous extractions.
Rate limits
We use lightweight rate limiting to prevent abuse. Anonymous requests may be associated with IP-based counters. Signed-in requests may be associated with your account ID.
Analytics
The site may use Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, Google Analytics, and Ahrefs Analytics to understand traffic, performance, and product usage.
